~THE GRAND PIANO FUND~

I am delighted to announce that Soula Cooper and I have found a really excellent Welmar concert Grand piano which is quite exceptional. I have been able to trace its history from being in a concert hall in Corby to being recently rebuilt by Phil Taylor Pianos of Mansfield. Soula and I have been up twice to see the instrument and the tonal quality, power and dynamic range are all extremely impressive indeed. It has been totally rebuilt and I think his craftmanship is second to none and he has quite a national reputation for such work which is very reassuring. The name Welmar is not a particularly well known make but this particular instrument is quite unique and I truly believe we have a real bargain.
